Changing Dynamics:The Role of Social Media Within Conflicts

Communication is how we draw connections, bridge barriers and help define our place in this greater world. As technology has developed, it has both enabled us and task us with the greater challenge to adapt our existing styles to continually connect with a diverse range of individuals. Social media has become a vital tool in both our every day conversations and in the most critical of times. From couches, to coffee shops, to conflict zones, as it evolves, so does its power and strength in dictating the discourse.

I always have a passion for communication. It is how we draw connections, bridge barriers and help define our place in this greater world. As a honors political science and journalism graduate from the University of Arizona, I have grown a love to better understand the individuals and communities that make up our beautifully diverse world.
