Systemic Counselling in the Prevention of Extremism

How can systemic counselling on deradicalisation, distancing from and exiting extremism be successful? This book addresses this question. As a fundamental work on systemic deradicalisation counselling, it presents theoretical concepts using the example of Islamist extremism. Dr Vera Dittmar is the scientific director of the Deradicalisation Research Centre (FORA). The research centre supports the counselling organisation Grenzgänger, which specialises in deradicalisation, and conducts research in cooperation with the Migration, Integration and Asylum research centre of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF).
